We maintain a large stock of various grades of Babbitt resulting in quick delivery
- Old white metal machined and removed
- Bearing shell tested for leakage
- Bearing shell prepared for new babbitt layer
- New babbitt layer sprayed and deposited
- Bearing is machined to required size
- Water lines are cleaned and oil grooved created
- Finished bearings tested using Ultrasonic testing as per ISO 4386
- Bearings can tolerate far more load as compared to "puddled" bearings
- Bond strength of coatings in the range of 20 Mpa
