Eastern Metallizing Co Pvt Ltd was started in 1951, on the 4th of Jan. It was started as a public limited company to offer tailor made solutions

in the field of metal spray for dimensional restoration of essentially jute mill parts like rams etc as well as anti-corrosion metal spray to MNC's

like ABB etc. Eastern Metallizing was one of the first to introduce metal spraying technology to the Indian Industry!

As early as 1962, Eastern Metallizing imported its first thermal spray gas flame gun from Metallisation UK (An MK-40)

Current Operations

Our Thermal spray services (TSS) division has progressed a long way from providing anti-corrosion metal spray coatings to the latest

thermal spray coatings of Tungsten Carbide & Ceramics as well as proprietary coatings liscenced from ASB Industries Inc in USA.

Mainting the leagcy of "firsts" in its businesses, EMC is the first to introduce robotics in coating technology in Eastern India!

There are 3 other divisions in the company, each headed by a competent Divisional Manager, all reporting to our President (works)

Current Management

Currently, the company is headed by its 4th generation promoter - Mr. Shantanu Newar. He has a degree of Bachelors in Commerce from

Saint Xaviers College (Kolkata) and a MSc in Sofware Systems Technology from The University of Sheffield in UK. Mr. Newar has stayed for more

than 18 months in the UK and his international experience has helped in shaping the company to its stature today. The technical collaboraton

in the company's TSS division with ASB Industires Inc of USA has been forged by him in 2012
