HVOF - High Velocity Oxy-fuel flame spray system is a technology in which powders to be sprayed are accelerated to a very high velocity in a specially designed converging - diverging combustion chamber and are accelerated to a speed of as high as MACH 5 whilst being sprayed at the substrate material.
This technology enables in spraying carbides which provide a very hard and dense coating with very high bond strengths.
Coating characteristics of WC coatings are summarized below:

Hardness up-to 80HRC
